We are Chepo's Mexican Restaurant

More than two decades ago, in 1999, our family came to the United States from Durango, Mexico, carrying many dreams, goals, and the desire to build a better future. Like many immigrant families, we started by working hard in restaurants, learning every detail about cooking, customer service, and the importance of making every guest feel at home.

As the years went by, the dream of creating something of our own began to grow — a place where we could share not only our food, but also our roots, traditions, and the authentic flavors that represent who we are. That dream became a reality in 2010 with the opening of Chepo’s Mexican Restaurant. The name “Chepo’s” holds a very special meaning for our family. Our father, José, whom we remember today with great love and affection, inspired the name of the restaurant. In Mexico, people named José are commonly nicknamed “Chepo,” and that is where the name was born — a name that today represents our hard work, family unity, and pride in our heritage.

At Chepo’s Mexican Restaurant, we work every day with passion to serve authentic dishes, homemade flavors, and a warm family atmosphere that makes every guest feel like part of our story. More than just a restaurant, we are a family sharing a little piece of Durango and Mexico in every dish.
